Bix Tac Sport Pro X…

Got my hands on my first one, mounted it to a Nanook and the safety rubs the side of the action…y’all bending that safety arm or does Bix have another safety arm I can swap it too? It’s not horrible, but it’s a detail and “my condition” won’t allow it.

On the positive side, nice trigger…with my eyes closed, I’m not sure I could tell it and a comp trigger apart.

I have already made note of that problem on Remington actions to Bullet Central. There is no possible way that mine was the first complaint, yet they seemed like I'd just discovered the atom. They do not have a replacement lever and if you try to flex the lever to the side enough to have clearance, you will be rewarded with cracks in the finish. I took it apart and examined the possibility to moving the washers to gain clearance. That is not possible to do successfully. They need to make a pile of new levers and send them to all those who have purchased those triggers.

That's odd. I have 2 (or three) of them in guns. No clearance problems (700 clones)

When they came out, I'm pretty sure I read that they essentially are comp triggers, just in a different package. I might be wrong about that.

I got a early version that doesn’t rub a Christensen arms action-
So maybe ya’ll action is wider

I have 2 and have used them on rems and kelblys and haven't had an issue.

They are different internally to a competition. They have a second internal spring for the higher pull force so you get better range and easier adjustment than using one small spring or swapping out springs.

Can’t take the lever off, it’s a buddies hunting gun…7prc.

Thanks guys, weird that it seems a little random.

I don't know why they chose to have mild / coated safety's when the other components are stainless and aluminium. If they made it stainless like the bolt release and you could bend it anyway you need.

I had the same thing happen with a Tac-Sport Pro (the steel side plates) on my Lonepeak Fusion Ti action and got some cracks on the arm while trying to bend. I think if you heat it first you will be ok but I'm sure thats not going to do the finish on the safety any good,LOL. Bullet Central did send me a new arm when I called them but that was at least 4 years ago. I haven't tried to bend the new safety lever yet. It fit on my Defiance Outcast Muzzle Loader action fine.

I have had 2 TS Pros, and 1 TS, on 3 different Remington actions, and all 3 were in contact with the tang. Like Alex said, I bend them. Which is a pi$$ poor solution to a problem on a $300 plus trigger.

Did you guys use heat? When I bent mine without heat it cracked.
