Bix sear insert?

Every day a new challenge. Anyone have instructions on how to use/adjust a bix competition that has a sear insert?

Attributed to Chris Harris:

"The upgraded sear insert installed into the top of the trigger allows for some minor trigger timing adjustments due to the fact that firing pin fall changes depending on the direction the insert is facing when installed. All triggers are set for standard centerfire benchrest applications. The second position however, is a favorite among the rimfire shooting community."

My notes say ~.045" pin fall difference between the two positions. Curious as to what you get.

Interesting. I've got about 140 fall now, and the hand off feels horrible because the pin is probably falling 100 thou to meet the sear. I'll flip it around and compare in the morning

From your initial picture it appears to be in the short position.
