Hit a ranch in NE that called and said I need to come out and remove those darned coyotes that keep running all over her ranch. She said its been quiet for 6 months and now they are all over the place again.
Top one was in a circling mode at 187 yards when I caught it coming out of the tall CRP grasses after barking at us for 5 min along with at least 3 others that ran in/out of the CRP but not holding still.
He finally came out after I got up & moved the call to an open pasture & re-set up quickly with them all yapping all round us.
My pal hit the bottom one 2x (both low leg shots) on the run and it made a point to stop 50 yards in front of me to nip at her legs & I of course finished it. It could of lived, but this was best for her.
They both made for a nice Sunday b-day present to my self I think.
