Birdsong Black-T?

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a finish done by Birdsong before. I only hear great things about it and the price is very reasonable I hear too.

Thanks guys,
Kc

Uqsly,
I know a guy that builds rifles. He only uses Birdsong finishes on his rifles. To see his rifles look up tactical operations or tac ops. I think snipers hide did a write up on his tango 51. I know los angeles sheriff uses his rifles for their snipers.

Birdsong does an excellent job with finishing. Be aware than the Black-T finish is very, very thin. It can also be scratched quite easily. It will quickly wear off on any contact surfaces like the bolt run or lugs.

That said, it certainly protects better than blueing and has certain advantages over parkerizing, smoother surface with greater lubricity). I'd consider it more of a cosmetic advantage than serious protection however.

Uqsly,
If you get a rifle done. I suggest going to Robar NP3 for the bolt. It is a nickel teflon finish. Holds up real well.
