Bipod choice, AccuTac WB5-G2 vs Atles SuperCal

Hello, I need a serious bipod that I can substitute my Harris replica bipod.

I shoot principally from the bench, some time prone.
I think that looking the targets position/canting at 600, 730 and 900m, the F-class/FTR style bipod/rest can not work properly.
So I would to choice the standard style bipod, like WB5-G2 or SuperCal.
I need a lot of canting upward for aiming properly this targets.

So for these evidence from the two for a general usage (bench and prone) what bipod can I choice?

My targets a the range may vary with and angle from 5º to 15º up higth.

My rifle are about 18.75lbs.

Thanks

I have them both, the wb5 more recently.
I think I prefer the Super Cal by a Flys eyelash. Although, I did just shoot my smallest 100 yard group in 16 years off the wb5. Both very solid choices, pick either.
I have the ski feet on a Accu-Tac fc Bipod for ELR, THAT'S my favorite, but pretty big.

Hello @moondog,

thanks for the reply, are possible to preload both bipods?

The two bipods have the same price range on Italy, but the SuperCal picatinny version are more expensive here.

The FC5-G2 are my third choice but it seems that the barrel remains a bit too high compared to the WB5, can you confirm?

Thanks

Here are mine

While I don't have the wide versions that you're looking at, I have had the Cal and the SR.

I sold all my Atlas bipods in favor of the Accutacs and more recently my MDT Ckye-Pods.

I have two FC4-G2 ARCA bipods and one BR-4 ARCA. I also have a Atlas CAL.
The Atlas and BR-4 rarely get use any more because I absolutely love the FC-4G2.
Since I made the switch to majority ARCA rails on my rifles the only two of my Harris bipods (5 or 6) that even go to the range as backup are the ones I converted to ARCA.
At the price they are now I can't even imagine what an Accu-Tac would cost in Italy!

@moondog ,
Thanks for the photos and measures.
What of the 3 mantain the barrel a the lower heigth on the leg triangle?

For solid surface like wood or concrete are best the rubber feet or sky feet or pad feet with foot cleaning mat?

Thanks

@shoot4fun ,
my rifle have the stock like McMillan A5-3U, I like Arca rail but I don't know if the upgrade are possible.
Thanks for the FC family bipod advice!
The FC5-G2 cost on Italy about 500€ plus shipping...

It's a shame that are not direct imported to Italy
I almost forgot that I have a Rempel as well. I have yet to shoot over it due to some health issues.
I think as far as elevation the Rempel is great but, unlike the FC-4, it will not pan.

Bora72 asked about BRand prone. I infer panning isn’t necessary. The ski feet work very well for multiple targets.

In my opinion PAN are a great feature when you shoot targets at multiple position, but for static shooting to one target are redundant.

But if on board are not bad.
