Billy Stevens Wins 2017 Hog Roast

Looks like Cambell tripped and fell while going to get a SODA (POP)....
Billy saw him down and held his foot on Wayne's throat...
Good clean fun at BR match.. Great shooting guys..

Can someone explain that match to a derelict prone shooter? What does V5 mean and LV5 mean? I am assuming each of those were fired at 100 and 200 yds? If so, his groups at 100 were great, but the 200 yd groups were outstanding.

What is the match format?

I assumed. Even in good conditions a 1/4 moa agg is fine shooting. Im amazed at how many guys have rifles that shoot 1/4 moa all day long ;)

v100 v200 are his heavy Varmit gun 13.5 lbs. The LV are his Light Varmit gun 10.5 pounds.

Each aggregate represent an average of of 5 targets with 5 record shots. So 10 targets at 100 yards then 10 targets at 200.

200 yard aggs are divided by MOA.

Actual measurements Billy shot 50 record shots at 100 that averaged .253 and then 50 record shots at 200 that measured .506

Hope that helps.

Thanks Bart. That is some great shooting.

Yea I have shot that match a few times and I Remember like two or three years ago, cold and Hurricane type conditions.
I never thought about it I just live like 15 miles from there and it was a cold windy weekend with rain..Oh yea it would have sucked to shoot in that this past weekend...Great Shooting..I know one year we were holding well off the target to hit it at 200 yards. If you got out of there with under a 1" group you were good...
What really sucked was I had a rifle that I knew could agg a.125 and you show up and have them kind of conditions and just no idea what to do.. I even seen some top guys scratching there heads...But someone always gets it sorted out...amazing.
