Big Piney's F Class December 8th, Maybe not do Weather

The under ground forecast for are area is predicting 5" to 8" of snow for Friday
and 3" for Saturday.

If this forecast is any where close to right we will have to cancel.
We do not want people having accidents trying to come to the shoot.

Please pass this word around to other shooters.

We will a decide closer to time.

If we have to cancel we will give out the high 5 awards in each class
when we can have the next shoot.

We will be coming up with a new schedule for 2019 soon

Donnie,

I was afraid of that; earlier this morning I checked the weather forecast for Houston, and you confirmed what I had read.

I was really looking forward to this match as I have my new 6mm BR-A rifle ready, and so far fire-forming the BR brass with it has been rather accurate. But not worth the risk of the 141-mile drive each way for us; especially along Hwys T & TT.

Hopefully, we can make it in January - you just need to pick a nice weather day when you make the schedule.

PS- Then again, betting on the forecast this far out is anything but reliable. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, well, well - we did not have to wait very long for a big forecast change.
From solid snow all day Saturday 08 Dec with up to 8" of snow, to now when the forecast is for 0" of precip!


Let's see how many time this forecast changes drastically.

As of now, I'll See You All Saturday!
