Big Piney October 8, 2022 600 yard F Class Match Results

The weather for our October match was pretty nice, just a little chilly early, but warming nicely later in the day. The clear sunny skies combined with the cooler temperatures did cause a lot of mirage which was pretty tough to deal with, but on the other hand a number of shooters were able to use it to their advantage as sometimes the mirage indicated the correct holds often times exactly opposite of the what the flags seemed to indicate. While the wind never blew particularly hard it was plenty switchy and variable so it was a challenging day to shoot.

We had a good turnout with several new shooters this month, and a new Junior Shooter.

Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks to everyone who attended and those who helped set up, take down, and run the match! Hope to see every one next month!

Piney runs a class where you can use PRS/hunting or other type rifles on a bipod that don't fit into FTR (not 223,308 or maybe have a brake or suppressor)
