I have had generally bad luck with Chinese scopes, but put a Millet 4 x 16 x 56mm with a 30mm tube on a very accurate 7-08 for testing. Not only did it track sight corrections, it is very clear and the mil-dot reticle is very clean. I didn't have time to box the reticle, so I haven't truly tested it for tracking. I was impressed enough to leave it on for opening weekend of deer season. I played with it in the pre-dawn darkness when my eye or my Redfield spotting scope couldn't see anything at all. I was stunned when I found that I could see rocks, bushes, limbs, etc. through this scope. When it got light, I found that I had ended up with the power ring set on 8X, but even at 16X it had not washed out. I identified and centerpunched a good 8 pt that I couldn't even see with my naked eye. He went about 20 feet and collapsed.
I still can't guarantee this scope just based on the performance of the one I have, but it might be worth trying if you only have about $200 to spare. I expect that Millet's warranty will be good if it craters.
A very pleasant surprise, considering how many crappy Chinese scopes I've seen and tried.
Good luck, Tom
