Best way to ship factory ammunition Fed-Ex or UPS ?

What's the most economical/dependable way to ship ammunition? Going to be doing some more downsizing and cleaning out. Thanks.

Buy some orm-d labels and read the regulations front to back

I agree with Dusty,first step is understanding the regulations for shipping ...and then learning the requirements for legality in each state,and sometimes geographic locations...like NYC, etc .

Read EVERYTHING on this page. Then read it again. Then print it out and take it to the UPS store (or Fedex if you prefer).

You can make your own label,that's what I do,and tape it to the box.The one the bossman posted is all you need,and it has to go ground.I use the same one,just made it bigger.

Just a FYI: you can't take it to a UPS store, they won't accept it. It has to go to the Customer Service Counter at a UPS distribution point, warehouse, etc. I just when through this whole process this week and fortunately a new distribution warehouse opened up nearby, 10 minute drive.

As an alternative to the ORM-D label, you can use the Limited Quantity label, a black diamond shaped label.

For some the distribution center is not convenient.If you know a FFL,like me,with a UPS account,see what they'll ship it for you for.If you got the box to put it in,I charge the shipping
price plus $2.00 for all the tape I use and the label,sometimes I use a whole lot of tape.
