Best upper lower matched sets

Preparing to build a AR for accuracy.whst do you suggest for upper and lower sets ? Going to build both an AR 15 6mm ARC as well an AR10 6mm creedmoore. Thanks in advance.. light weight is a good option, but I wont give up accuracy in trade.

My #1 grandson is wanting an AR15 to hunt hogs with. I talked him into a 6 ARC but you can't find anything in that or 6.5 Grendel anymore pretty much anywhere. Everybody is out of stock. The 6 ARC looks to be a good thing and I'll probably have to get one but at present a lot of people are out. He decided on the 6.5 Grendel.
Of course we were looking for complete uppers and lowers. You might have better luck buying components and putting something together. I think CMMG has the Resolute for sale.

There seems to be a lot of enthusiasm for weapons these days.

A few months back these rifles were stagnant , they were sitting on store shelves and the world had gone to buying the AK47 platform as the hot thing... Since this Corona crap started I haven't even seen one AR or AK on store shelves and have had people asking me if I have one for sale or if i know were to get one alot... Ammo for .223 is also gone and I actually saw I guys buying handfuls of Tula ammo Friday like it was gold... We are lucky to have an academy in this little town and once again people are lining up before they open on ammo days... It's during times like these I am so glad I started reloading... I think it's funny people are buying reloading stuff but there's hardly any components out there just like factory ammo.. A dollar short and a day late on that one...

MEGA Arms was the best, but like many others they went out of business. If you can still find a set they are nice!!

I have put a lot of AR’s together for Match Rifles for NRA Style Shooting.
As of late :?Aero uppers and Lowers the High End ones as well as the Matching Hand Guards . Barrels Kreiger or White Oak .
All other parts Mil Spec .
Triggers your needs ?
I like Milozzo ?

Does a matched set make a difference in accuracy?
Couldn't tell you if it does or not. I have an AR that is as sloppy as they come and have 2 others that don't move at all...they all 3 shoot great. The Aero has a nylon type set screw that you can use to take the slop out of the upper and lower, but again I don't know if it makes it more accurate...but it is nice when they fit good.

I "bedded" one years ago. Put some epoxy on the top of the lower, just behind the front pin. Fitted it so the takedown pin was tight. It shot just as good as before, which was very good. Others I've had vary on the tight/looseness, but it doesn't seem to affect accuracy.
I'm not sure why it doesn't matter. The hammer from the lower is hitting the firing pin in the upper. You would think that would affect something, but I've not seen that it does in about 40 years of shooting heavy bench ARs at prairie dogs and occasional targets.

I think it is more important that you get a matched set than any particular brand. I have build a pretty good number of precision ARs and while I can link barrel brand and accuracy in a few cases, I have yet to link it to the upper/lower brand.

The reason I say a matched set is important isn't necessarily for accuracy either but in case they don't fit. If you get both from the same manufacturer and they don't work together, the company has little room to say it's not on them. I've run into several cases where mixed uppers/lowers wouldn't fit due to stacking tolerances. At that point each company will point there finger at the other and it's much harder to get resolution.

I've had great luck with Rock River Arms and Spikes.

Out of the box full rifle with no mods the Rock River AR's the most accurate I ever saw
I’d put my CHF Daniel Defense barrel against any NATO-chambered rifle for accuracy. It might not be better but will give it a run for sure.

I had an Aero set as my first build. The fit is better and tighter than my Daniel Defense rifle.
I have built at least 50 rifles using Aero parts exclusively , knowing their fit very well I am surprised at what you claim . I guess the extra money for a Daniel Defense is not a wise investment ?
