Best Trigger Made

Who would you say makes the very best trigger for bench rest and tactical rifles. There are some names out there that I have never heard of

I would suggest a Jewell. They can be configured in a wide range of pull weights, and have safety and bolt release options.

Benchrest and a true tactical rifle are completely different animals and what works well with one is not the best for other.

My picks:

Huber Two-Stage for Tactical.
Jewell 2 oz for BR.
Jewell HVR for Varmints.
Geissele Two-Stage for ARs.

A 2nd on what DMG264 said. Different triggers for different duties. I have a Geissele in my XTC rifle. If someone bought it today, I would put an X-treme AR trigger in it tomorrow, they are that good. Having said that, I have one of the
X-treme bolt rifle triggers in both my 600 and 1K prone rifles. I recently aquired a Davies trigger and like it as well. Still the X-treme triggers take a back seat to none.
I hope this helps,
Lloyd

I had a Geissele put in the AR that I had built for Kavanaugh. I have Jewells and Shilens in my Remington and custom BR rifles. My mausers have Blackburn triggers.

Grunig & Elmiger trigger is bar none the best triggers made in the world. Problem is they don't fit too many actions and they cost a lot of money. For my Nesika action the adapter is $200 and the trigger is around $500.
