Best swager

I need to swage about 4-5k pieces of 5.56 brass. I have watched a few videos and the Dillon 600 seems to work the best and looks to be the most efficient. I don't think I want to buy the press mounted RCBS model, I think it'll be too tedious. The Bench mounted model looks decent, but not as nice as the Dillon. Any models I'm missing? Any recommendations or other input?

Get the Dillon , mount it to a board and c-clamp it to your bench when needed , that way it doesn't take up space.... Press mounted is a pita , well to me anyway.... I actually use the Lyman case prep station and like it alot....

I have the RCBS. Works just fine. The press mounted sux, I have one... If I were doing it again I'd probly get the Dillon. Price is pretty close. It looks easier to use. and this guy's got it goin on

He sure does. Too slick

Bought a Dillon last night, should be here Saturday. Looking forward to trying it out.
You won't be disappointed in Dillon , their warranty and C/S are very good... If you have questions , they have the answers... I pulled the trigger on their 550 this year and the quality is outstanding... It makes absolutely great ammo in a quarter of the time.. It's alot of money for faster , but it is great , like most people I only wish I would have bought one earlier....

Some people say that Dillon is falling behind because their press isn't constantly being updated or changed , but if it's not broke don't fix it and becouse they don't change stuff every 6 months they know the answer to just about everything when you have a problem and call... I don't regret buying RCBS to start reloading with and have made thousands and thousands of rounds with their products , but I also have had a problem with just about everything I have bought from them... They did make everything right but it was a pain... But the Dillon I just set up and started going....

My son got one for Christmas. I bought him a stand and quick change plates for it. All I have to say is Dillon makes a great product. Cept things are a bit pricey. We set up for two calibers and changing is fast. Spendy to get there but fast to reload..

Yes sir , they are expensive , but so worth it....

The height adjustment on the Dillon is off just enough that you have to go slow on .223 and .308 cases or you will ruin the case mouth because of case alignment in the swager.
Inline Fabrication makes an insert that gives perfect alignment and allows you to go much faster for large batches.

Dillon is my vote. I did about 1k over a weekend on my rcbs press and my should was hurting when I was done.
I would go with the Dillon sit to their customer service.
They are local to me and every time I’m in there I am glad I came in even if it’s just for a chat.
They helped me with my 750 issue I was having gave me parts wtc
