Best single stage trigger for AR15 match rifle

I am considering replacing the two stage Rock River trigger in my 6mmRAT space gun with a single stage trigger and I have read some of the pros and cons of all the ones I know of. Are there any positive opinions of the Jard two pound trigger, for example?

John: Needing to upgrade the original factory trigger on my Colt H-Bar, bought new in 1995, I went with the JP single stage trigger with their speed hammer. After approx. 450 rds., the hammer developed a crack although did not completely fracture. Sent it back for free, no questions asked repairs, that same lower now has well over 15,000 documented rds. fired, has gone through 4 barrels, and remains trouble-free. There are many excellent choices out there now, many more than were available in 1998, so whichever well known and proven one you choose, you will most likely get a good one.

Had a Jard, constant trouble with adjustment and doubling. Anyway, for me, 2# is just a bit too light on a semi auto.

I also have a JP. Very crisp. A little tricky to setup but worth it. Have fired around 2000 rds thru with not an issue. A little heavy at about 3 lbs. A good friend has a jard 1 3/4lb very nice took a little to get the engagement right once set it has fired 2000 to 3000 rds not an issue. I like the 2 stage jewell over any of the single stage triggers and easy to adjust.

+1 for the JP, Buy the complete kit. I have them in all my rifles and in my IPSC rifle with 10 years use with no problems.
