Best powder for 6.5 WSM?

I am having a hunting rifle built in 6.5 WSM. I was wondering what the best powders are for this? Looking to get the best combination of accuracy and velocity.

I would look at H1000. IMR 7828 or H4831 in that order of preference. My 6.5 RSAUM loves H1000 behind 140gr AMAXs.

I agree with the above but the new IMR 7977 may be an option too. Also Retumbo

IMR 7977 Is basically the same as H1000 with copper fouling inhibitors.

Mine shoots really well with R25 for both 130's and 140's. The new R26 should make a good thing better. I did try MagPro and H1000 as well, but have used only R25 for the last 6 years.

My rifle loves Retumbo,and the 142 MK.Its taken a few pop cans full of c4
out at the Gateway dynamite shoot in western Colorado.I hope you enjoy your rifle.Don't fool around with load development too much,work up to 67.0 cautiously of course and enjoy.

I run RL33 in my 6.5SS, which is based on the SAUM case, with 140 hyb & 160 Matrix. Bugholes..
