Best place to get R700 FP assembly

I just received a PTG with the 3 POS safety. Machine work is fine on this one. Bolt goes out to Dans40X for a decent bolt handle and to bolt fluter for his craftsman ship.

I'm waiting until the gun is out of lock-up and in my possession before I start ordering parts. As if the 10 waiting period we have here in PRK isnt bad enough, DOJ is now averaging 17-20 days to complete background checks.

Will likely order a PTG, all standard hoping they have some on the shelf and no wait time, but I have other things I'm doing to this rifle anyway.

Must be a kalifornication problem, not the US FBI background check. We're getting ours in a few minutes.

Yes, California does their own background checks. And Californians buy a lot of firearms because there are more conservative Republicans here than in your state (unless you live in TX or FL).

Well today, 21 days later, I brought home my rifle! (That mess is another story)

Looks like PTG is out of stock on FP assemblies and is 4-6 weeks out on manufacture. I don't get any discounts through Brownells, either.

Anyone have one or know where I can get one for a reasonable price? R700SA, dont care if its black or blue, just not SS. I'm going to wait a littl bit on sending the bolt off right now.

I called them and was told out of stock and 4-6 weeks out.

I stock .062 firing pins without cocking piece holes for when you want to fit them properly.

Regular FP assemblies? Not interested in speed lock systems, no real added benefit on a 700.
