best place or person to get barrel crowned and threaded

i have several barrels i would like to have this done fast and correctly for a reasonable price. some barrels i only need threaded, others crowned and thread. where is the best place to send them to. would any local gunsmitch with a decent reputation be able to do this competently,,,or is this something that it would be better for "certain" gunsmiths to do.

how hard is it to remove stock and unscrew a barrel to send it off to someone?

have lots of tools, just never did much gun stuff.

thanks

Taking them out of the stock is easy. Taking off a bunch of barrels is a different story which will require a receiver wrench and a barrel vice and headspace gauges if they are savages with no shoulder.

Any gunsmith can take off barrels and thread them... thats a cake walk for a gunsmith... nothing major at all. If you dont know... best thing to do is let the gunsmith do it. You will mess stuff up without the right tools... and the cost of the tools dont outweight just letting the smith do it.

Different brand guns come apart differently. Best bet is a local smith for that...
