Best place for laminated stock blanks?

With Rutland catching fire, Boyds no longer offers blanks for sale. Other than Richards, where can you get blanks now?

Cousineau Wood Products makes some nice stuff. They are only 10 miles from my house here in maine.

I would give Tommy Shurley of Shurley Bros a call. I have gotten stuff from him twice and he is a top notch guy and really goes out of his way. I can't say enough positive about him and the way he does business.

I hope so. I'm at 3 months waiting on my blank. They're apparently
pretty busy now.

Everyone keeps answering with names of guys that don't make plywood. Are there any other mills that make laminated dyed hardwood plywood sold in sizes that we need to make stocks??
Cousineau 3x8x36 blanks are about $200 plus shipping I think.
Any other manufacturers that y'all know of?

Since Rutland burnt there is no one else.

Try X-ring Rifle Stocks. They make complete inletted stocks of hardwood and laminates. They may glue up a blank for you.
They are out of Wisconsin

I think I'm correct in stating that the Cousineau blanks are being laminated with maple now instead of birch. If weight is an issue you need to be aware of this since maple is considerably heavier than birch. There are laminated blanks coming into the country from a foreign supplier but I'm not sure who it is at this time. A local furniture supply store is getting color dyed veneer in from Italy but to lay up a stock with this veneer would be cost prohibitive.

That is not correct, they used Maple years ago for flooring, but ALL the stock blanks are always laid up with Birch.......
