Best foaming bore cleaner

I have used Wipeout since it came out about 10 years ago and like it very well. But now there are several other manufactures making foaming bore cleaners too. Has anyone got a personal favorite?

Short answer?
What's best, Blond, Brunette or Redhead?
When it comes to gun cleaning friend, it's all about what you prefer. It's just not anymore complicated than that.
I've only been using foaming bore cleaner for two years, the Gunslick I bought after roaming the cleaning products isle at Cabelas reading labels and marketing claims for two hours seems to work just fine.

Gunslick...Outers, etc. Pick one and buy bronze brushes individually, instead of by the dozen. I foam my bores and place the muzzle down on a folded paper towel overnight. It may recquire a second application...but when the paper towel shows no more blue color, patch the excess out and proceed for protection/storage as you have done before. I use Ed`s Red between shooting seasons.

Scott

Stick with Wipe-Out. It has corrosion inhibitors not found in other foams.

The latest version of Wipe-Out is stronger and works faster. You can also combine it with Carb-Out and Patch-out liquids for even faster cleaning.

Howdy !

I have used Gunslick's Foaming Bore CLeaner on my Marlin M-336 XLR .35 Rem.
The gun has deep " Ballard style " rifling.

The foaming bore cleaner allows me to get the bore clean without use of a brush !
After a 15-20 min bore soak, dry patches are used to get the bore cleaned-out & dry.

I follow-up w/ a patch soaked w/ Montana Extreme "Bore Conditioner", and take the first shot " wet ".
