Best Concealed Carry Holsters?

I am looking for a new holster for concealed carry. I am currently using a crossbreed holster but the leather is starting to let the gun tip out a little and the kydex part is cracked. I am carrying outside the waistband on right hip and want something that will hold gun tight to my body so it does not show too bad. It is a S&W m&p 2.0 compact. Anyone have any suggestions on holsters that you like.

A Galco Combat Master holster is pretty good under a loose shirt or light jacket. Well made, they ride pretty tight with the right belt.

Hard to beat the cross breed. I use the tuckable IWB. Most comfortable holster I have ever had! I carry a glock 26.

Desantis IWB's - Pocket Tuk, or Tuck This II. I have the Pocket Tuk but have been looking at the Tuck This (even though its Nylon) as it has a spare mag pocket.

The clip design allows you to tuck your shirt in - if its loose enough, you can go w/o a jacket.

Most won’t spend $200 on A holster.
-They spend $200 on multiple holsters that become junk in a few years. I carry a S.A. EMP daily and have had my custom black-ops pro for about 7 years. It’s the same today as the day I bought it. You can’t beat it.

If you can find one the Galco CON286H it's similar to the combat master but a little more cant and the leather is only molded on the outside the inside is flat, very comfortable stays tight to the body a little behind the hip. carried a 27 in the same one for over 15 years 8+ hours a day. 20yrs on the Deasantis belt, looks like crap but still in one piece.

If your carrying outside the waist , I use the safariland with the ALS... It keeps the gun locked tight but it comes out fast when needed... I want holster retention in case you have to fight on the ground or have someone try and take it or even if you have to run , climb , fall etc... With the ALS system you have to know how to get it out or it's locked in... Don't worry it's super fast and easy to draw... You can pick one up for about $50.. Stay away from their GLS or grip lock system it's not secure in my opinion because it can be removed from behind... Holster retention is very important and often over looked... Your responsible for that gun and it works in anyone's hands...But this holster may not be want you're looking for if printing is a problem were you live... We have both open or concealed here and I just wear a long shirt untucked over it but there's a bulge...

Thanks for the advice I will check out all of them to see which one I think will work the best.

My own choice has been a 5Shot. If you like your current holster then buy a couple and keep it fresh. Leather tends to last longer if not worn every day. I often alternate black and cordovan color from the same maker. The Crossbreed as you describe it and hybrid holsters in general have a well deserved reputation for short service lives. Seems to me Greg Ellefritz but certainly some well known people have discussed that fact.

Also Cross Breed here. King Tuk. In horse hide.. Extremely comfy. Have a GALCO Tuk clone in the same configeration. Quit using it cuz the cheap plastic belt clips are junk..

Here's something funny...
After already owning some of the Better holsters, yet still looking for more comfort and retention, a good friend convinced me to test drive his junk $15 Versacarry.
Reluctantly, I used it, and ended up getting one for all of my cvw's!
They are by far more comfortable, and better retention, than my more expensive rigs, which now rest in a drawer.
It's one of those things you wouldn't believe, until you tried it yourself.

I build custom leather holsters. IWB,OWB, shoulder chest, you name it. Cow hide, horse hide, list goes on each is individually fit and finished to THE weapon and THE person so they function as a system. In my opinion, thats the best way to go. Find someone who can build something exactly as you want it. A holster that fits lots of guns, fits them all poorly. A holster that does lots of different things, might not do them well.

A23DD950-A654-43D5-BD35-482F51EB45F3.jpegAlligator inlay, blind slot, open top OWB. Sits high and tight. Conceals very well and is like wearing sexy underwear....no one knows it’s there, but daaannngggg.....

I have been through holster after holster trying to find a perfect one and have had many failures.
I recently bought one made by DM Bullard (leather) that goes outside the waistband, but inside the belt. I had to wait 30 days to get it, but it was worth it. I can carry all day with more comfort than my Crossbreed type or any kydex holster. It definitely pulls it tight against my body and I do love it. I am carrying a Sig P365 XL. If I had it to do again, I would tell him to leave the sweat guard off because that would allow me to get a grip on the gun easier at the draw.

I love my Milt Sparks Versa Max-2 have one each for a XDSC and PM9 with that said consider where you will carry, especially if you got go and do number 2, last thing you want is a pistol dangling from your pants for the whole world to see. I use a Mitch Rosen clipper for the PM9, I can take it off real easily and put it my front pants pocket and nobody for the wiser.
