Best bullet for ft-r mid range.

I'm getting ready to order a barrel for a mid range .308 Ft-r rifle build.

I shoot a 6mm Br now and it seems that the 155.5 Berger’s would be very close in the wind to my 105 vlds. I leaning towards a barrel to shoot 155.5 . Will i be at a big disadvantage ?
Just looking for some input. Most of the ranges i shoot are in Ohio and I rarely see big winds at most of the matches.

I usually hate this response but do a quick search of the forum. There have been several comprehensive threads on this very subject. To help answer your question, though, Russell Simmons took second place in the recent FT/R world championships using 155gr bullets. The 155.5 Berger is quite possibly the best 155gr class 308 bullet ever developed.
