I guess I don't have the "fire in the belly" it takes to do some of what you are describing to my brass. I don't want to met plat trim, weigh bullets and brass, or segregate bullets by bearing surfaces. BUT I sure am glad you guys are doing all of this investigating, because, IMHO this is where progress comes from.
But for me, honestly, I can probably benefit more from more range time than the other bullet prep steps.
So, as bozo699 and others have indicates, I think I'll get a better die and carbide bushungs if i can find them, but mainly take the 80% of my rounds that have +/-.001 runout and go practice trigger control and wind doping.
