Best brass in consistency for 6 BR

I only have 100 pieces of Lapua 6BR brass atm, wanting to buy another 100 pieces, but not sure if the lot will match my current lot, since I want both batch to shoot the same POI at 600, so I may want to buy 200 pieces instead. I forgot what my old lot number was. I have always used Lapua brass and never tried Petersons, ADI or Alpha. Most of you guys experienced with different brass.

Which brass has the best consistency in neck thickness / roundness and weight / volume?

I have used all Lapua brass in my 6br. However, I have preped 100 pieces of Peterson and 100 pieces of Alpha. My 6br has a .266 neck, so I turn case necks down to .009. The Peterson brass was consistent with weight and neck thickness. The Alpha brass had wider variation in weight and neck thickness. I had no issues turning it to .009. I plan to try the Peterson and Alpha in the new barrel I have coming in June for my 6BR. I have used Peterson in my 6.5x47L. It is excellent, consistent brass.

I forgot to add that I'm not turning necks, maybe just high spots only but will need a .265 bushing to do that. Mine is a .268 neck on a loaded round with .266 bushing.

I can’t speak for the 6BR, but in 6 BRAI, and 6 Dasher the Alpha offering wins hands down based on H2O case capacity. My last batch of Alpha 6 BRAI (400 count) had 8 culls with the remaining 392 cases falling within 0.9 gr brass dry weight range. Water capacity on each end of that spectrum was even tighter. I like Lapua - think they have the best brass formula, but Alpha trumps them for consistency in every cartridge I’ve tested.

Would you happen to know your loaded 6 BR round measurement with Petersons before you turned the necks? Just curious

I turn the necks before I fire them for the first time. My rifle has a tight neck chamber. My loaded rounds, after neck turning, are .262. The chamber has a .266 neck.
