Sub minute, heck yeah! What temp, elevation, & velocity?Just hit a 16” plate twice at a mile yesterday with my 300 wsm. 208 berger long range. Seems pretty accurate, had a bunch of close calls hit all around the plate. Took 19.4-19.5 mils
a properly set up 7 wsm with the 180-195 should also do pretty good but the 300 i think is so nice and easy to load for
I wouldnt call it sub minute lol may have been some luck. Hit all around the plate on like a half dozen shots or so. Some i didnt see impact so not sure where they went. It shoots ragged hole at 100 yards.Sub minute, heck yeah! What temp, elevation, & velocity?
Don't sell yourself short. 16" at 1 mile is less than 18.43" which makes it sub minute for the 6 you did hit!I wouldnt call it sub minute lol may have been some luck. it was 56 deg or so, around 1250 elevation where i sit but target is up hill at 1650 ft. Magnetospeed says 2860’s fps.
Those are some long shots there! How was the terminal performance?my 2 longest kills - 1804 & 1602 both with 300 WSM
3023 fps with 208 Amax If memory serves the 1804 was something like 69.75 MOA and I was holding 8.5 MOA of wind.
The 300wsm gets the job done!
groundhog, coyote size game. I wouldn't push whitetail that far. for Deer 1200 is about the max. usually over 800 you don't get an exit, but i have killed many between 600-1200 and the only deer I ever lost was with a 338 lapua the rest were 300 WSM lol what are those odds. Those are some long shots there! How was the terminal performance?
