best 600 yd LG scope

as the title implies,

im wondering which scope, leupold in particular, is best for a 600 yard LG.

i know its one of the big fixed powers, but any thoughts as to which?

30x40???
40x45???
45x45???
something else???

I think you would be happiest with the 40x. I use a 35 and wish I had a little more. A buddy sold his 45x because it was bad in the mirage. But, I'm in Fl. If you dont get a lot of mirage where you shoot you may get away with the 45.

Thanks those were my thoughts as well.

I live in the desert in West Texas, where God first invented mirage. Haha.

I always shoot better when I go up north, where I can actually see!

Here, I shoot over wheat fields right after I water I'd rather deal with humidity than mirage.
