Best 308 bullet for mid-range F-class using a 12" twist ?

185 Juggs or 175 SMK both will go mid range and long range.
Berger's 155.5gn BT, 168gn Hybrid, and 185gn Juggernaut will all perform superbly at mid-ranges (and at 1,000 too for that matter) in a good 12 twist F/TR barrel.
The 155.5 will usually produce the tightest groups per se and hold tighter elevations, but the 185 performs better in the wind reducing points lost on windage, so a lot depends on the range's wind characteristics and also weather on the match day.
There is a noticeable difference in recoil across this weight range with full-house loads even in an 8.25kg rested rifle, so it's easier to shoot 155s well. I found the 168gn Hybrid a great compromise when I shot F/TR seriously 10 or so years ago and before the 200s became de rigueur for long-range F/TR.
