Best 22 Magnum ammo

What is most accurate 22 mag ammo anybody has used or uses thanks Steve

Hornady 30 gr Vmax. The most accurate in all three rifles that I owned, which are Anschutz 1516 HD, Custom Winchester Highwall, and a Savage A22 magnum. Tested at 100 yards.

Have to agree with Mr. Mongo. The 30 grain V-Max is by far and away the best load I have ever tried at 100 yards. Seems like rimfire ammo has improved by quantum leaps since my start in the mid sixties. Try some. You’ll love it!

Only way to know the answer is try them all ,every gun is different . My Anschutz likes Remington the best ,with the V-Max coming in a close second . An example to my point is...in third place is Speer Gold Dots, strange thing is they are designed for "Home Defense" in a short barreled revolver . They shoot right up there with the top two ...never would have guessed that one .

Mine is a ruger skeleton stock 22mag, and out of the three I tried, the hornady vmax was the most accurate.

I wonder what they do different than the rest of the ammo companies?

my 22 mags all like the Remington 33gr. Premier. I believe they are out of production. CCI maxi mag Hp are second.

Target shooting.

Wrong caliber for target shooting.Better accuracy and way more quality ammo in .22lr.

I guy who used to shoot CF with us used to get custom loaded ammo and swore it was pretty close to match grade.
As I recall he found it through Rimfire Central.
