Best 22 LR MOA Scope for PRS Style Shooting?

I'm interested in purchasing a new scope for my Vudoo 22LR and I'm having a hard time finding something that fits my requirements.

I shoot my 22LR between 10 yards and out to about 500 yards, But mostly about 25 to 300 yards.

The closest scope I have found is the Element Nexus... I like almost everything about it except the 30 mm tube and the clean reticle design. A 34 mm tube would be nice to get more travel and the reticle has these stupid circles that I find distracting. I really like the zero stop where I can set it away from zero, not stuck at only zero, and I like the no tool turret adjustment. I do not like the fast focus eye piece.

So here's what would be ideal for me...
1) 34 mm tube, but I can accept 30mm
2) Tactical turrets but absolutely no locking turrets... locking turrets are the most counter productive scope feature ever invented as far as I'm concerned.
3) First focal plane
4) Side Parallax to less than 25 yards. Not objective parallax
5) Zoom range around 4-20x or 5-25 ish or there abouts
6) Ideally no fast focus eye piece. I prefer the old Leupold VXiii style or Nightforce NXS style so I can lock it where I want it and forget about it.
7) Reticle, MOA hold points only on the reticle lines... absolutely no Xmas tree.
8) MOA clicks, not Mils
9) Cost, I'd like to keep it under $2000 if possible
10) Must have reasonably good to great glass.

Any suggestions guys?

The Burris XTR gets close to your list and is 1st FP and MOA - Might also be worth looking at the US made XTR 3 and or Steiner.

I have seen, but not used, the Meopta scopes, which appear to have good optics at a reasonable price and is the front runner for a rimfire F-class rifle, planned for next year.

I shot with the nexus and thr titsn all last season and had fantastic results. It’s hard to find everything perfect in an optic but I was very happy with the nexus and for the money extremely pleased with the titan. The nexus moved over to a hunting rig, the titan will stay on one 22 and will be trying an apex optics for the other.

I have an XTR2 on it now, but the minimum parallax is 50 yards, that's really my main beef with it. Glass is ok but kinda dark.

There is also a backlash problem the way the zero stop works as it can apply force on the threads when bottomed out and over the first few clicks until the turret can spin freely. So it doesn't track perfectly over the first few clicks. The zero stop also only works at zero, so if I ever have to make a POI offset to re zero the scope, I need tools, so its not convenient in the middle of a match.

Apex looks sweet but it also looks like Mil only. That's a deal breaker for me.

will you be shooting any competitions or is this just backyard fun?
If I'm not shooting a PRS style match, I'm practicing for them.

Most guys in PRS use Mil scopes, but since I've been shooting MOA for so long, there's no changing for me. I had an IOR for a while in Mil, but in the end that's why I sold it. Just could not keep the changes straight.

its totally doable to shoot prs with moa but significantly harder. With shots being from 100-400 the amount you have to dial is a ton as you know cause a bit of a handicap for moa shooters. I too shoot moa, but this up coming season will be switching to mils after seeing first hand the benefits of mils in prs 22. Seeing as I have to winter months to better myself with mil, I have also found the cheat sheet and x ring card holder to insanely beneficial. I don’t need to know mil as well, just my drops converted with my kestrel to keep me shooting as I learn.

I appreciate your point Matt, but respectfully disagree.

After shooting MOA for over 40 years I'm wired to MOA for wind values and come ups. To try translating that instinctive knowledge to Mils just slows down the mental process and contributes to cognitive over load in a game that is designed to create cognitive overload.

An MPH per minute is wind drift at 1000 yards, 1/2 MOA per minute at 500 yards.... in mils... hang on a sec... I have to think about it...

The most efficient system is always the one the shooter is most fluent with.

A shooter who is just beginning to compete can pick either Mils or Moa and the only benefit of Mils is that its popular in PRS. Mils however are not popular in other sports such as bench rest and f class where mils are almost unheard of. Perhaps a younger man could learn to be bilingual, but I'm past that point in life.

Lots of PRS shooters simply repeat what the Kestrel tells them to do and unfortunately, don't develop an independence from the device. Yes these guys can use mils or minutes interchangeably because they have no instinctive opinion either way. If they are honest, without the kestrel, these guys literally don't know what to do.

A few more $ but you could pick up a Schmidt pm2 5x25 on the used market for around 2100. I run one on my Vudoo out to 500. You will need a 40 moa base.
