Times change, skilled people leave companies, management objectives change, so who's making the best .22 center fire blanks, slow twist now, today? Don't want to deal with newbie johnny come latelys. I have a dud now from one of them. Only dealing with experienced barrel makers. I've had good success with Lilja, Pac-Nor, Brux and Bartlein in other calibers but have not used any of their .22s Thanks, Hog

I've always had good ,if not great ,shooters with Shilen . If there's any problem at all ,they make good ,fast . It's been a year or two since my last build 22 BR 1-12 and it's been great . Before that Shilen , it was a Hart 1-14 , 1.30 or 1.40 X 28" finished length . The Shilen was at least as good as the Hart and not as near the hassle and cost to obtain .

I believe Fiat started buying Chrysler when Chrysler was in bankruptcy about 2009. In 2014 It became FCA, or Fiat Chrysler. Headquarters is in the Netherlands.
