Berger 90 gr BT, 6mm, anyone?

Does anyone shoot these regularly? I’ve noticed they’re always in stock, and thought if they’d shoot very well I may have a 10 twist BR chambered up.

I don’t mean will they shoot half moa. Im
Wondering if they’ll produce very small groups like the 80 and 88 Varmint.

Yup, these and Lapua’s 90 Scenar-L’s, hammer at 300 F Class, last outing with them 595/600. Behind a dose of Varget going 3030 fps in a Dasher.

Yes, 8 twist barrel, 28.1 gr h4895 , br4 primers, seated into the lands, approx. 2850 fps. ...bugholes...

My 243 Win likes the 90 gr in the 27" barrel Rem 40X with 10 twist. May depend on velocity from your BR?

My 6xc 8tw shoots a small bughole with them it loves them, well it loves anything but double OO buck rdf's and they r like cats everywhere, and shelves r full

yes, shot them over 30 grains of varget, in 6BR cooper for club BR matches, was club champ for 4 years with them!

The 6mm 90gr BT TARGET bullet is a good little bullet that is overlooked by most shooters. Very accurate and easy to tune due to its TANGENT OGIVE design. BC is NOT a " BE ALL and END ALL" . Accuracy is.

I got good accuracy with this load in my 6BRX. No load work-up. This was a right out of the gate. Had 2 5-shot groups @ 3/8 " or less. Did not chrono.

I agree. These days, it’s always the high BC stuff that’s hardest to get. Then there’s a bullet like the 103 vapor trail, with a very modest BC, that’s tearing up the scene. The target always gets the last word.

ive shot them out to 1300 yards out a .243 BR-K with a 10 twist at 3250 FPS

The 90 target is the most accurate bullet in my 6 br. I never worked up a load because my first choice good. 30.0 of varget with br-4’s at .020 off the lands. I only shoot 100 yards with this gun. Groups are in the high 3’s. This is with 2 different barrels, shilen and Criterion.
