I’ve been testing it in the 284 with h4831sc and rl 23. Both look promising. Most people talk about jumping it but i would do a full seating depth test. The most promising load I’ve had is jammed. It has way higher elevation at 1000 than the 180 and should buck the wind a bit better. 180 does seem to be easy to get to shoot consistently well. 190 is a bit more finicky.

Does the extra weight and I guess extra length make this bullet need a faster twist than my older rifle has. For some reason i can not remember the twist right now. OH OH its old age why i can't remember. But I have been shooting Berger 180 hybrids and 175 SMKs and it has enough twist for them. I just wish my 6.5 had enough twist for the 156 bullets.

I run them in a 284 with 8.5 twist but I have a friend that has had success running them in a 9 twist.

Yea I think mine is a 9 twist, but i run them a lot faster than a 284.
