Berger 55 gr Varmint / Target

A friend donated 500 Berger .224, 55 grain FB bullets. Box states, Varmint, good for target too.
Bullets are a bit longer than the Berger 55 gr FB Target bullets.
Anyone with suggestions on using them compared to the Target bullets?
.222 Rem, 24" 1:12 McGowan barrel.
