Bergara HMR Pro or CZ 600 Range in .308?

I'm looking to add a .308 to my varmint and target rifle inventory

Currently I have a .222 Remington (Cooper) and a .22-250 Remington (Sako Varmint Laminate that has been re-barreled). I've come down to Bergara HMR Pro or CZ 600 Range.

I'd appreciate feedback on the Bergara vs. CZ (other than price - the Bergara HMR Pro is typically $400 - $500 more than the CZ here in Canada). Most of my varmint shooting is from a rest or sandbag.

Thanks

CZ 600 Range

The CZ 600 Range was designed to give the precision shooter every possible opportunity to take full advantage of the accuracy of the platform. the cold hammer forged heavy barrel, deliver the best accuracy guarantee ever offered by CZ. Sub ¾ MOA guaranteed at 100 meters, 5 shot group with match-grade factory ammo, verified on every CZ 600 Range we make.

Patented adjustable trigger

with no need to remove the stock. Simply rotate the 4-position dial to select a pull weight between 1.3 and 3 lbs. No guess work or gunsmith required.

The Bergara trigger is better. Both have adjustable stocks, one synthetic, one laminate. The Bergara uses a mini-chassis. The CZ barrel is hammer forged and the Bergara is machined.

The Bergara is more money.

Do a Pros and Cons list.

Why not Tikka UPR? I've seen sketchy quality control with Bergara rim fires. Are they better with center fire? CZ 600 has the funky vertical tang safety. They call it innovative. I call it changing something that didn't need changing.

The Bergara seems to have many premium parts already included. Interesting how the barrel is 410 stainless. As stainless goes this is a very tough material .

I've got a CZ in .22 Magnum. Not exactly the same, but I do love it. I usually shoot gophers with my Cooper .17 HMR, and bought the CZ for my son's to use. But, frankly find myself handing them my .17 and hoarding the CZ for myself So, yeah, need to take a hard look at pros and cons.

My .308 hmr is an absolute hammer with what it likes, factory and hand loads, and absolute garbage with what it doesn’t. No in between.

If you hand load stay with a shorter over all length to start getting closer to the lands opened up groups with all powder/bullet combinations I tried. 2.750 seems to be the magic number for my gun.
