Anyone tried the Remington 700 Drop In replacement Bergara Barrels?

I've used several, and really like them. Have one 22-250 that will whoot 1/4" groups at 100yds. and a .223 that is close to that, still fine tuning the load. very easy to install and extremely fine workmanship. I have one .300 win mag left if your interested. 26" SS varmint contour.

100% great barrel. They dont boast that there a match grade barrel but there a very good replacement barrel.

They have a very limited selection in rifling twist rates but other than that, they appeared to be really nice barrels.

I had a guy call me LAST week in regards to a query I posed at the SHOT show in February! I told them that if this is how long I have to wait for stuff I have no desire to do business with them. The gentleman said that he could certainly understand that and made no attempt to win my business. He also indicated that they weren't interested in doing business one barrel at a time. He wanted orders in the 100s at a time!

I told him that only a very foolish gunsmith would order 100 barrels from them without trying a couple out first to see if they were worth using! He had no idea! Typical bean counter.

I talked to them at last years Shot Show. I needed 50 AR-15 barrels. They weren't even interested unless I ordered them in the hundreds. Got the distinct impression that they were complete jerks and crossed them off my list.
