Bergara B-14 firing pin spring

In my remington 700 short actions as the firing pin springs have taken set and needed replaced I have swapped them to the Tubbs Duo Firing pin spring set.

I just purchased a Bergara B-14 short action in 22-250 1:9 twist. Looking at the bolt assembly there is a spacer that seats into the bolt shroud and the firing pin spring rests against it. This makes the space from that point to where the spring rests on the firing pin slightly shorter than a rem 700 short action.
Has anyone tried using the Tubbs spring set for the rem 700 in the b-14 bolt?
