Bergara 6.5 prc

What is your take on the Bergara 6.5 prc and which weight bullets are you having better luck with? Thanks

I have the Premier Ridgeback in 6.5 PRC ,its a sweet shooter. Does great with 140-147 gr .

I have a Bergara Approach in 6.5 PRC and its more accurate than my Custom built rifle in 7 wsm that cost twice its price. I have a Vortex Razor mounted on it and it shoots 1/4" groups at 100 yds and right at 1" group at 300 yds. I have only shoot one 5 shot group at 500 yds but that group was 1 5/8" group. My son, age 41 has a B-14 Ridge in 6.5 PRC and it is very accurate as well. We both shoot cans on both our rifles and see no disruption of accuracy. We are both shooting the Hornady 143 grn Precision Hunter factory ammo. We have never shot the kind of accuracy that we are shooting without reloading, so to shoot like we do with factory ammo even surprises us. I hope this helps. BTW, the son has a Leupold VX5 HD on his Bergara.

I have a Bergara HMR 6.5 prc.
the good:
It is a tack driver and shoots the Hornady 147 ELD Match bullet consistently around 1/2 moa.
Side note:
After ordering my rifle, I found some blog issues with the bolt shroud shattering. Bergara stated it had pulled or replaced the bolt shroud of the affected rifles. The Premier line was not affected. I took the next step and had Gretan rifles bush the firing pin hole. Greg did an awesome job and turnaround was 9 days including shipping.
If I had to do it over again, I would spring for the premier line.

Picking up a new 6.5 wilderness terrain end of week. 24” barrel. Those reports and reviews are exactly why I choose it as my first entry into distance shooting.
