Remington 700/ 40X right bolt short actions. The wood is Curly Tiger Maple with Amboyna Burl finishing the butt, interior sections are filled with balsawood, the rough stock was split horizontally in two places and laminated with carbon fiber cloth. Carbon fiber also lines the barrel channel.
It weighs in at 3 lb. 1 oz. The stock is pillar bedded for a Remington 700/ 40X action and ready for bedding, it is inletted for a BAT aluminum trigger guard, (not included). The stock has been finished with approximately 12 coats of automotive clear coat, wet sanded, polished and waxed. The forarm is 3 inches wide length of pull is 13-1/4 inches, overall length is 33 inches, barrel channel is suitable for a heavy varmint barrel.
