We start our benchrest season this Saturday April 6th and will be shooting once each month through October. This is our 2nd full season and we are still growing. The co-chairman was part of getting IBS to re-think themselves and the new rules. So, for this year we are staying unaffiliated yet as we have a mix of shooters from factory to unlimited. Just want to see where this all goes here for us. With that said we had already purchased enough targets last year for this year. So, we will be shooting the green 50-yard target yet this year. We have purchased the new red 100-yard targets. Our plan is to currently shoot (4) 50-yard matches and (4) 100-yard matches. We'll see how the 100-yard goes and if our shooters will have the interest in 100-yard or not, TBD.
We are a relaxed group but still adhere to the rules, structured yet also flexible so everyone can enjoy themselves shoot and learn. We don’t want anyone left out. We’ll make sure you get to shoot.
We are west of Detroit in Plymouth Michigan. We shoot at our 200-yard range where we have full concrete benches. Entry fee is $20.00 and includes a lunch. Any questions you can get with me, and or let me know you are coming so we can plan lunch accordingly.
