Benchmark Barrels

Anybody have any experience with Benchmark Barrels out of Washington? I've been trying to find some reviews, but they are hard to come by. I'm looking at a 6mm 1-8' Twist 3 Groove, if it makes any difference.

Thanks.

I've got a 3 groove 8 twist for my 6mm Dasher on my Savage.
I think they are very good barrels at a reasonable price.
I shoot a couple long range BR matches a year with it, so I'm no expert. Hopefully others will post soon w/ more info.
That being said, about a year ago I shot my first 1000 yard match. The first relay I had a 5 shot 7.9' group with Dasher brass that had only been hydraulically formed when I shot it at this match.
A couple months ago, I shot my first F-class 500 yard match and had about five Xs and a 10 shot score of about 96.
And I've got several reloads that have .7-.8' groups at 200 yards.
If cost were no object, I'd buy a Krieger or a Broughton.
But I was able to send my Savage action to Benchmark for them to cut the threads for a good fit on my action, and that was only about $100 more. A typical gunsmith charges way more than that to fit a barrel.

Ok, thanks. Money is pretty tight for me,still in highschool)so these seemed like a good deal, if I could find reviews. Everything I've read on them looks really good, plus they come contoured and polished for $250. I'm not expecting BR competitive groups, but I'd like .25'-.375' groups. The rifle is going to be used for just a couple F-Class matches and mostly long range rockchucks.

I have a Benchmark barrel on my .223, it was installed by Kevin Rayhill at Stockade gun stocks. He recommended it, saying that the metal was very hard and a great choice for 'barrel burner' calibers because of how long they last. I have had great accuracy and easy cleaning from mine but can't comment on the longevity as the .223 doesn't work it very hard.

Ron at Benchmark makes some outstanding barrels. They are the main barrels that I put on customers rifles. There barrels hold several records in rimfire and also centerfire. I know there barrel did have the 1000yd group record but im not sure if it has been beaten or not.
I have been dealing with Benchmark for several years and they are first class to deal with and I can honestly say I have never got a bad barrel from them.

If you get one you wont be sorry.
Good luck.
