Belted Mag Resizing help needed

Hi all
Have a question for the more experienced belted mag reloaders. I have a nice 7 mag and what i understand is that the best way to reload belted mags is to fireform the cases so they headspace off of the shoulder instead of the belt. The question is do I still want then to bump the shoulders back .001 or .002 after the fireforming and wouldn't that defeat the purpose of headspacing off the shoulder or should I just neck size or other suggestions...
Thanks much in advance to all who reply and best wishes all.

Dennis

Bump the shoulder back a thou or so, the same as any other case.

You are not defeating the purpose, you're making dependable reloads.....

Agree with ALF. I bump all my mag cases back just a couple thousands in case the rim dimensions on the case is way off specs.
