I bought my first B&C stock this summer. It's a Medalist Varmint/Tactical for the Savage 10 series action, very similar in contour to the McMillan A2.
I dropped in a Savage FP10 action with a 28" Pac-Nor barrel made in the factory Savage Varmint contour. Dropped in without a hitch. The barrel fit very well in the stock channel and full floated without any interference. The full length aluminum bedding block makes full and even contact with the bottom surfaces of the action. The only work that I had to do was to drill the correct sized hole for the rear trigger guard screw, which is not an action screw on a Savage.
I'm quite satisfied with this stock, especially considering that it cost only $210 and the dealer had it in stock, taking only three days to get it to my front door. It seems very stable and appears to be holding steady as the temperatures drop to below freezing. I'd buy one again!

Ive been eyeballing getting a medalist VT for a savage so far I have only really heard good but I have never laid my hands on one. It seems like very few places carry them though. Ive been kicking around the tan web or desert tan camo but I have yet to even see a pic with a rifle wearing the dtc much less a medalist stock, to hard to pick colors. Ive also been looking for a good price but I have really only found 1 or 2 places for $216 or so
Do any B&C stocks, such as the Medallist Var/Tac, fit the 2007 Savage Precision Target action?
