Bell and Carlson bottom bolt release Savage stock with adjustable cheek piece sold

More info please. More pictures would be nice. Is this short or long action (looks long)? Is this a Medalist, or M40 (or something else). Does the bottom metal have a box magazine, or internal. Sorry about all the questions, but I'm not very knowledgeable on Savages. Basically I have a Savage 10 (4.4) top bolt release small shank .223 and want to know if this will work.

I will let you know I’m not sure that a bottom bolt release stock would also work for a top bolt release, Stock, and it is for a 4.4 short action and it has a metal flush drop out magazine I think if you look it up on Bell and Carlson’s website, it would tell you that at least I hope it would cause I think that’s how I ended up with it

Yep that’s the one, I have used a top bolt release with the bottom bolt release stock in the past. I just had to Dremel out a spot which was not very hard for the top bolt release, which is easier than doing it the other way.

It takes the flush Metal mag Which I can include one I’m not sure if any other magazine systems work on this however I’ve never tried anything else because these things function real well. They are the same magazines that the model 12 LRP’s come with.

What cartridge is the magazine made for ?

Any of the creeds, 308 family, I had been using it with a 6 mm Creedmoor these mags are almost flawless as I’ve never had one issue with any of this type as I have had many model 12s and 10s with this magazine
