Bedding question

I have a Rem 700 which I'm going to have blueprinted, squared, trued, etc. Comes with a Hart barrel and I'm putting it into a Rem VLS stock. I've drill out the front and rear screw holes in the stock to about 12-13mm diamer and want to bed in a different phases. First I want to build up the pillars with Devcon epoxy and fit the action into the stock to form the pillars. When I get back the action from blueprinting, I was thinking of removing some of the pillar bedding material at the top and bottom, adding new Devcon and then bedding the whole thing. It was going to be a 2 part process. Anybody see any issues with this?

No, it will work fine. Just make sure that you get the bubbles out so there's no hidden pocket. A blow dryer works well.
