Is there any good information anywhere that I can read regarding the bedding angles relative to the forearm and buttstock? It would be simple to just put a barrel in the stock and bed it in place, but what about the angle of the barrel relative to the stock-bag-rest contact angles. Most stocks have differing angles on the front and rear for bag contact. Wouldn't this cause recoil to be nonlinear and result in changes of impact from one shot to the next unless everything is identical. I'm sure this info can be had somewhere, but where? Okay stock designers.....
