Bedding Action / Devcon Synthetic stocks.

I was getting ready to buy some Devcon bedding material from Midway and notice a small disclaimer about synthetic rifles. will this material work on a synthetic rifle, they would not guarantee it would. Other than that it had great reviews.

I have tried it in Hogue (I think) stocks and it will not adhere well enough. You can take a screwdriver and just prise the stuff out of the stock.

It will depend upon what synthetic stock that you're using. If it is a injection molded stock, the material used will be much more slippery than a laid up composite. Quite a few of the injection molded stocks will have a release agent on the recesses that needs to be thoughly cleaned. It won't be visable but it's there.
They can also be helped by making the surface rougher so the Devcon has something to adhere to. A dremel will work for this.
