Beautiful Evening

What a perfect way to spend a summer evening -- watching over a bean field with my CZ 527 on the tripod. Yesterday I shot two groundhogs right at dusk and so far today I’ve seen two deer and a red fox.

Very beautiful indeed - there is just something so serene being in the field on a beautiful summer evening watching the sunset. For me, it's my all-time preferred place to be - it just renews the spirit, at least for me.

Incidentally, I'm seeing more predators (foxes) and deer than groundhogs the last couple of years. Northern Berks County in PA is loaded with both foxes and deer. There are coyotes there too, and I've shot a few (very few) in the late evening towards sunset, but they're mostly nocturnal around here.
