Beam scale enclosure

I have a RCBS 10-10 beam scale that works great but, like other scales, is sensitive to the slightest air movement. I typically load in my garage but its not air conditioned so I use fans in the summer. They play havoc with my scales. I even brought the whole setup indoors but my central AC creates enough air movement to move the scale.

I am going to build an enclosure for it. I was thinking about using plywood or MDF for the top sides and back and Plexiglas for the front. To avoid having to pick up the entire enclosure each time to access the pan, I was thinking I would hinge a portion of the of the Plexiglas to create a door. I would also cut a slot in the side panel for my Omega Trickler.

Has anyone built an enclosure for your scales? Any tips?

A friend built one for each of us, to my design. I found that plexiglass had a static charge issue. so when another friend borrowed mine to copy it. he built his with a tempered glass front, and was nice enough to replace my panel with the same material. It was designed to be able to trickle up charges outdoors when doing load development with coarse powders that cannot be thrown accurately.
