Does any one know the BC of the 105 amax it.s not listed on Hornady's sight any longer. memory tells me its .5 but but memory like me is old.and not what it used to be.
Yup. Old thread, but I'm looking forwards to trying these on varmints. Applied Ballistics, per my Kestrel 5700, has it at .249 G7 and .489 G1. Certainly off the pace, BC-wise, which is likely why they were pulled/replaced by other offerings. Still, I picked some up recently, as I'm willing to pay a little BC price for terminal effectiveness on little critters.I'm showing a G7 of .252 and a G1 of .492. These are Litz tested numbers. Advertised BC was a .500 even.
Did you find the explosiveness and aerobatics satisfactory?I shot pdogs with them last month out of my 6br. They worked good for me out to 500 yards. I bang a lot of steel and shot them in a 1000 yard f class Match.
All thee above.Did you find the explosiveness and aerobatics satisfactory?
