BC % increase in tipping 140 Hybrids

First post here, but I've been reading for over a year.

Today I'm looking for some information to use as a baseline for the time being on the BC % gains when using the Whidden die #1 insert to point the 6.5mm Berger 140 Hybrids. Hopefully someone here may have tested this already and wouldn't mind sharing? I'm trying to consolidate 2 days of range testing into 1 day so if someone can help out with their experienced BC increase it would be very much appreciated.

Donovan, thank you for that. I had considered the issue of making a bulge just below the pointing, but had not considered deforming the boat tail. I have the kit arriving any day now and was hoping to use tipped bullets this weekend in a match but I may opt out of tipping them until I have more time.

According to this article on our site "I have seen a BC gain of 1.5% to 10% by simply pointing the meplat down to about 0.033″."
