Fascinating action with an interesting pedigree. I would go 300 H+H Magnum. An absolute hunting classic that is easy to load, plenty of good bullets, plenty of powder options etc. A 24- 26 in barrel in a classic stock would be a dream hunting rifle for any game in North America and beyond.
